Walt's 'Maggie Mae'

We got the boat two years ago in SC. when we got the boat it was a wreck. But it had the outboards that we needed to get of the shallow water in our creeks but yet a boat with a low flying bridge to get out under a low bridge. it is a 1982 the year where there was about two dozen made (what we have heard) with the outboards. It then had the Sea Drives taken off in 1993. A designer from Bertram and Armstrong came out to make a bracket since the sea drives didn't need one. Then a pair of Evinrude 225 ocean pros were put on. also there was two years of restoration work done to it to make it like new. With a full tank of gas water and four adults on board with a somewhat dirty bottom (end of season) it did 43 mph. since the inboards aren't there it rides higher in the water and about thousand pounds lighter. Also there is a lot of storage under the bilge where the engines would be.
